When we first entertained the idea of operating a personal care home, we felt both challenged and a sense of priviledge.

We were challenged because we recognized the incredible responsibility of caring for those who would come to live with us. We knew we’d have to find a way to make every person feel at home, safe, independent and respected.

We felt priviledged because we would be afforded the opportunity to have a Christian personal care home that would improve the lives of many people.

Finally, we are committed to providing exceptional care to all who make our home their own. Here at the Danken House our residents are family and real quality of life is accomplished every day.

From the moment you catch sight of our home, even from a distance, the warm charm of Danken house will invite you in.

It’s just like going to grandma’s house, and it’s not unusual to smell a sweet apple pie or join a group of friends having casual conversation in our homey living room.

You will enjoy a wide array of amenities at Danken House, all designed to make our home safe and comfortable.

We Provide:

Dining
Three meals a day in a home-like dining room prepared by our private chef. We’re confident you’ll find our meals delicious and appealing.

Activities
More than just a game or two, we work hard at providing stimulating. enjoyable activities that promote fun, community involvement and friendships.

Laundry
Another great amenity we provide is our weekly laundry service. We take care of everything from linens to personal clothing.

Spiritual
We coordinate with several area churches and ministries to provide our residents with varied opportunities of worship.

We also provide:

* assistance with obtaining transportation for medical purposes, shopping and banking
* respite care opportunities
* assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing and taking medications
* private and semi-private rooms
* quality staff care including a registered nurse and personal care aids
* serene, quiet surroundings with easy access to parks, public transportation and shopping.
