Short-term Respite Stay

The caregiver-care receiver relationship can be both rewarding and taxing. Elmcroft’s Very Important Guest (V.I.G.) program provides a welcome break to relax and rejuvenate for both parties.

For the caregiver, a brief respite is essential for good physical and mental health. By taking time to take care of yourself, you minimize some of the stress associated with caregiving, which will make you an even better caregiver.

As a care receiver, you are one of Elmcroft’s Very Important Guests anytime you visit. Whether your stay is for a week or a month, you will be warmly invited into our family from the first day by dedicated caregivers and friendly residents.

Elmcroft’s V.I.G. program not only lets caregivers take a vacation or just take a breather, but it is an excellent way to see if Elmcroft will meet your needs if you are evaluating options for longer-term assisted living residency.
